You could say that we were starting to realize why sleep deprivation is a form of torture... I probably got a few hours total of sleep with Dominic sleeping (snoring) just feet from my pillow. Breast feeding took awhile, too. We had our first pediatrician visit with Dr. Leman at 10:15am. I couldn't help it between being hormonal and sleep deprived, I cried... She deemed Dominic fine, though!
Afterwards, we took him and went to Stanford to visit Keilin and get her update. They had their first blood-free diaper!!! Now, to restart her on breast milk first, then gradually introduce her to a new hypoallergenic formula. I was excited to get a "free" lunch (i.e. $5 off and $5 off breakfast and/or dinner if we were around), since this is a benefit for breast feeding moms. Chris had to pay, but my grilled cheese was free. Dominic did well the whole time.
It was hard to leave Keilin for the evening/night, but we called in before bed and first thing in the morning for her progress. Things were starting to look up!
