We didn't realize that bath nights at the nursery were Saturday's and Wednesdays, so we missed the first bath night. Tonight though, the nurse showed us the routine. I guess if there is a good thing about your babies being in the hospital, you get a lot of expert guidance and hands-on experience in how to care for your children!
Sometimes I was terrified of how small the babies are, but slowly I was getting used to them. Most often, Chris did the feeding (still via tube into their tummies) while I did my pumping. He is also the expert diaper changer - I hadn't changed a one to this point!
To pay tribute - Chris was my awesome friend, partner, and love through this entire experience. He was my rock when I was scared, my shoulder to cry upon, my caretaker when I was in pain, and never once did he complain! He was amazing with the babies (still is), never afraid of them and willing to do anything/everything for them. I'm soooooo lucky to have snagged this guy!
